BAA Photography Prize - MPB Awards 2024
The project “Augmented Unreality” among the finalists in the prestigious award.
I am deeply honored to share that I have been selected as one of the four finalists for the prestigious MPB Award, under the theme of "diversity" in this year’s BBA Photography Prize.
As a photographer, my work has always been a journey of reflection, capturing the nuances of the human experience through my lens. Diversity, in all its complexities, is a subject that speaks to the heart of my artistic practice. It represents not only the visible differences that make each of us unique but also the shared humanity that unites us. I am continually inspired by the stories and perspectives that emerge when we embrace diversity in all its forms, whether they are rooted in culture, identity, gender, or tradition.
To be selected by MPB is not only a personal milestone but a reminder of the power of photography to bridge gaps, spark dialogue, and inspire understanding. MPB’s commitment to elevating diverse voices and perspectives in the world of photography resonates deeply with me, and I am grateful for their support in amplifying this important conversation.
As the countdown to the final decision begins, I am excited to be part of the upcoming exhibition in Berlin (https://bba-prizes.com/photography-prize-2024), where my work, alongside that of my fellow finalists, will be showcased.
The opportunity to share space with such talented photographers is, in itself, a source of inspiration and motivation.
No matter the outcome, I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of this journey. The recognition from both the BBA Photography Prize and MPB reinforces my belief in the transformative power of art. I look forward to continuing this dialogue through my work and to celebrating the rich diversity that defines us all.
